4. Drain Clearance: Make sure there is enough clearance around the drain so the strainer nut is below the subfloor.
5. Struts Contact: Ensure all struts under the base are in contact with the floor to maintain the warranty.
6. Install Against Studs: Install the base against studs without using mechanical fasteners.
7. Allow Clearance: Never force the base between studs. A 1/8" clearance is recommended.
8. Wall Material Installation: Install wall material (plywood, moisture-resistant drywall, cement board) at least 1/2" from the top of the water table on the base.
